(16 Episode Epilogue)

(Season One)

Future Blessings

Narrator

"The town was ecstatic as Christmas approached. Dedication of the new town hall was indeed a blessing in itself. John Dolson coming to podium as the town hall was totally full with town folk holding cups of egg nog and other libations."

John Dolson at podium tapping gavel

"Wow, first time I did that to get your attention, usually the Judge be doing that to get "me" to calm down"...(Everyone laughing)..."First off, would like to wish everybody Merry Christmas and welcome...welcome everybody to the new Dolson Town Hall...this is obviously for you..."

(Everybody raises cups and cheers)

Dolson continuing

"I would like to say, that there comes a time in a man's life an epiphany, that is if they are lucky enough to stay alive..."

(Everyone laughing)

Dolson continuing

"And that, or with that...we are all given that second chance for those that find purpose within themselves and to be of benefit to the commoners...to all that find purpose...God forgives those that truly repent...I have been so blessed...as we we gather in these new surroundings, bless you, bless each other, let's praise the elements of those above for this new building...may it serve us well...Merry Christmas again...thank you and bless you all!" 

(Everyone cheering and hallowing)

From behind Dolson, a guitar, a fiddle, and a bass fiddle with a wash board strike up a song.

(Unbroken Circle)

Dolson walks over to Sheriff as crowd resounds and attempts to dance, most falling over from being so drunk!

"Well, we went and did it..."

Sheriff

"Yes sir, seems that miracles really do come true, this really did surprise everyone, including myself..."

Dolson

"Just wanted to thank you again for sparing my life, I will always be indebted to you..."

Sheriff

"Well now, you can thank Tomei for her generosity and forgiveness...without that...without that level of solace...we probably would already have you in the ground by now!"


Dolson starts to sniffle and tear up

"I know, i know, i know sir...where did she really come from anyway...she's so connected to the source, but of what...things, powers I can' see...wisdom and powers I can't even to begin to understand...you know?"


Sheriff laughing

"All I know is that someway is she was able to spare my Deputies lives including myself...I don't understand it either...I just try to play along!"


(Scene Switch)

(Two Hours Later)


Narrator

"Now Madam Ellis and the working girls had planned a Christmas party for some of their select customers and clients, but first they all exchanged gifts between each other, like new stockings and dresses...but the big surprise awaited one special girl, one that could not be overlooked..."


Madam Ellis coming to forefront

"Well girls, wanted to thank you all lovely ladies for your most amazing impressive talents, you have truly impressed with me with your capabilities!"


(Everyone giggling and laughing)


One Girl

"I really appreciate...it's been a pleasure Miss Ellis, working for you, I learned so much!"


Madam Ellis

"I imagine you did, but training should be a natural thing for a young girl like yourself. some are appreciative of the examples I give, and other's think I'm just...well, plum amazed!"


(Scene Switch)

(Two Hours Later)



Tomei comes down stairs in white dress


Madam Ellis

"Tomei. Merry Christmas my little Angel!"


Tomei

"Oh, thank you, Merry Christmas to you all...a blessing  just taking me in...I mean I've learned so much, and for your generosity, for all you have given me, you have truly blessed me!"

(Every girl with tears)


Madam Ellis

"No, we were the one's so blessed with you...you have shown us the way toward spiritual truth...your special gifts are the true miracle!"

(Girls all chattering)

(Dancing with each other)


Madam Ellis

"Tomei, we've decided you need to go to finishing school...brush up on your legal talents!"


Tomei looking surprised

"Maybe come back and be the Mayor?"


Madam Ellis
"Who knows...nothing would surprise me about you...but anyway, the girls and me pooled together a little money and we'd like to send you to Saint Mary's Hall in New Jersey...what do you think?"


Tomei

"Oh gosh...Miss Ellis that would be wonderful, why are you being so special to me...I mean your like my only family and everything?"


Madam Ellis producing small jewelry box filled with silver and gold coins

"Don't you worry dear, this is mostly tips and donations from the men folk...you know, they can be quite generous at times!"


Tomei tearing up

"Oh, thank you...this is going to be such an experience..."

(Giving Madam Ellis a hug)

(Everybody in the room breaks into "Joy To The World")


(Scene Switch)

(1 Week Later)


Narrator

"Now, with Tomei all fixed up with a new dress, she waited outside the general store for the departure of the 8 o'clock a.m. Wells Fargo stage. The same one that showed up at 4 o'clock for the afternoon layover. As she and Frank the Blacksmith, who was going to Cincinnati to buy some new equipment boarded the coach. Who of all  people, John Dolson comes running up to the very same coach he tried to rob through the faulting talents of his now deceased henchmen.
Tomei was completely startled as he reopened the the door to the coach that the driver had just closed!"


John Dolson

"Sorry to hold you up, but I figured I better thank you...rather I needed to thank you, for letting me see the light...you are indeed an Angel, you saved my life!"


Tomei holding her hand to her face

"Gosh Mister Dolson, you just had to find yourself, I only prayed for you, I know you had some good in you, the spirits told me so...I trust them, now you must trust them, listen to their voices. and just believe in yourself...pretty simple really!"


Dolson crying

"But...but you were the one that believed in me...you spared my life girl...what was I supposed to do?"


Tomei reaching down, putting hand on his shoulder

"Look, I'm a young girl going to finishing school...when I come back, you promise to make me your Mayor...can you keep that promise?"


Dolson smiling in tears

"Of course...of course, anything for you girl...I Love your spirit, everything about you..."

(Dolson suddenly fumbling through his pockets)


Dolson

"Oh wait, almost forgot...I have something for you..."


Tomei

"And what could that be?"


Dolson producing a cashier's check for $2000 dollars

"Here, this should help you where your going, and hopefully to find yourself home!"


Tomei holding her hand to her face again

"Oh gosh Mister Dolson, I couldn't possibly..."


Dolson

"You can possibly and possibly will, please just take it?"


Tomei takes check and reaches down to give him a hug

"Thank you sir, now you take care of your town, and I'll be back before you know it!"


Dolson

"Bye Tomei, best of luck in everything you do..."


Tomei smiling

"I'll have my spirits watching over you, and you will always be in my prayers, bye, bye!"


Stage Coach Driver

"Come on, let's close the door, time to go!"

Pulling the reins on the horses, the coach takes off in the morning sun, town folk waving as Tomei departs for Saint Mary's Hall in New Jersey.

Barn Raising

Narrator

"Now, with the good intentions of John Dolson in place to build a town hall and courthouse, there were still a lot of planning and procedures to be considered. Here's how it all went down!"

Int: Madam Ellis's Bordello-Poker Room-9 A.M.

The Sheriff, Deputy Mike, and John Dolson sitting at card table studying plans and drawings over a bottle of whiskey.

Sheriff

"You have any idea as to where you going with this, where you going to build this thing?"

John Dolson pulling from a deck of cards

"Well, I'll I tell ya...thinking that space between the General Store and the Blacksmith's Shop, what you thinking?"

Sheriff

"Need a plan maybe, how big is this gonna be?"

Dolson

"Big, need to be big enough to hold the whole town if need be...I think that would be best, work well for the commoners..."

Sheriff

"Find it funny you suddenly give a doodler's dare to the commoners?"

Deputy Mike

"Something to hold the hold town, like six by six's, got to order up some of that good Oregon wood, maybe some Spruce, some north California Redwood or something!" 

Dolson

"Yea, I was thinking pillars, like in one of them Opera Houses..kind of a theme thing going there!"

Sheriff laughing

"Can't even believe I'm talking to someone who already deserves a noose around there neck,  but heck I'll play along, an Opera House huh...now wouldn't that draw some attention?"

Dolson

"Why not just follow along, why not, we growing, maybe even build some housing down at the end of town, like they do in Chicago, they call them little apartments, got a a hot bath ready for everyone...everything there."

Madam Ellis comes downstairs and enters Poker Room

"Hey boys...what's up with all this barn raising, you got any ideas locked down?"

Dolson

"No Mam, not locked down yet, still cooking up some thoughts...need to put some things to paper, but one step at a time, can't do this all at once...you got any input?"

Madam Ellis

"Well, my old Jason Barnes, long gone now, bless his sole, put together this place, couldn't believe all his handy work, sure miss him...can't add anything productive at this point!"

Tomei coming downstairs

"Morning everybody!"

Everybody in group

"Morning Tomei!"

Tomei

"So, let me guess, courthouse...town hall...digging for ideas?"

Sheriff

"Just trying to figure out what's best...trying to help Mister Dolson best spend his money!"

Madam Ellis

"Tomei...just wondering...(pointing up), can any of your little spirit people put in some ideas?"

Tomei laughing

"I don't know, didn't figure they were needed for stuff on the planet...you just putting together a building or two, but I'l ask, they probably not interested, but I'll ask!"

Deputy Mike

"I though them spirit people be up on on top of all of this!"

Dolson

"Lest can be, let's hear them, make sure we get this right!"

Tomei looking puzzled

"Okay, okay...didn't realise this was going to be such a dilemma, I'll drop them a line!"

Turning around, Tomei proceeds to go back upstairs, turning briefly, looking down back at her audience

"I'll be right back!"

(Scene Switch)

Int: Tomei's Bedroom

Pulling out her customary crystal on the string, she quickly sets up her Pentagram and starts to chant.


Tomei

"Oh most Holy ones, those in my dream, my fantasies, those who control and watch ober my existence, I implore new ideas and thoughts toward a design, a structure, a calling card....Soma, Revolate, Ultanate, Sigama, in your names I request, Amen?"

The crystal almost immediately starts to spin, stopping on the old piece of cardboard.

Tomei taling to herself

"Acoustically perefect huh?"


Tomei coming down stairway

"Okay,  apparently they did want something...a building that's acoustically perfect..."


Sheriff

"Acoustically what?"

Dolson

"Look, this was just suppose to be a town center, not a concert hall!"


Tomei

"Well, that would indeed please them...maybe we could commiseration musicians to come in and play, keep everyone entertained and stuff!!"


Sheriff

"Well, whatever happen, I never...what you think Dolson?"


Dolson

"Okay, I'm in...this will definitely draw them in..."


Sheriff

"People like to be drawn in, okay Dolson, gve me a yea or a say, tell me where er going here? 


Dolson

I'm thinking, I'm thinking...this is turning over into something else that I really don't get!"


(2 Weeks Later)


Narrator

"Now groups were coming into Dolson. Large groups of  covered wagons loaded with wood, lumber, pre-cut lumber from Oregon


Don Lease gets off wagon train, spots Mister Dolson from a a recent celebrity photo

"Hello sir, Don Lease at your service...got your telegram the other day, what you got going here?"


Dolson

"Well, if everything goes right, I was thinking a perfectly cut and dry, a formulated call...court house...everything be a calling card, community involvement...but what I was requested to to try is an acoustically perfect bling, whatcha think?"


Don Lease

"Well, something like that is all in the bumps, breaks up the echo!"


Dolson

"Anything else?"


Don Lease

"Plum, everything gotta be plum!"


Dolson

"What's plum?"


Don Lease

"Balanced, everything nice and even...got a level on everything, good drainage, a good thatch roof, nice and tight!"


Dolson shaking head

"And what are we looking at for all the fixings?"


Don Lease

"Probably looking at about 18 thousand, give or take..."


Dolson's face drops

"But, I was only only figuring five tops."


Don Lease

"I'll cut you to 15 without the bumps..."


Dolson

"Okay, no bumps..."


Looking up he sees Tomei shaking her head

"The spirits have spoken, they want this acoustically perfect!"


Dolson slamming fist, taking another shot of whiskey

"On sec-end thought, put in the bumps!"


Tomei smiles

"The Spirits will be so happy!"


Dolson

"Yea, yea, yea, we all want the Spirits happy!


Don Lease

"The what...the Spirits?"


Dolson

"It's an inside stuff, just build the thing!"

Old Dog, New Tricks

Narrator

"About 10 days had passed since the lessons of Tomei was performed to the now reformed John Dolson. It would be interesting to see what effect, what lessons were learned. It's not every day that a young mystic girl teaches an old dog, new tricks!"

Int: Madam Ellis's Bordello-Tomei's Bedroom-6 A.M.

Tomei already considering options, as she spins her crystal on it's thread, going into chant.

Tomei

"Oh, Holy ones, please guide me in my intent...to my purpose...I request direction...please be specific in what needs to happen with Mister Dolson...I need to know where to place my energy, where to make my demands, oblio, synm, sootha, olo, in your spiritual presence I implore, amen."

Sitting on floor with folded legs, she watched the magic of the crystal as it spun above the pentagram beneath it on the floor. Locking up, it showed balance, right above the image of a hammer, the masons. Tomei knew instantly that she would place him into the work of construction, but of what?"

 Tomei asked again

"Oh Spirits, what have thee requested, what construction shall I have him command...can you be more specific, obla, deemorra, alto, moe, gensta, amen?"

This time, the crystal appeared still, no movement, no anything...then thinking to herself, she visioned a courthouse for the Sheriff.

Tomei to herself

"Of course...a main house to gather and have court, provide public engagements, a center, a public hall for affairs of the town of Dolson, a main office for a Mayor perhaps...if we can get to that point...perhaps myself...oh boots, I'm a girl...have you gone crazy girl?"

She smiles and starts to laugh at herself in the little round mirror laying against the wall beside her.

"You be crazy girl, but you know your right...we'll see!"

(Scene Switch)

Dolson's House-Bedroom-7 A.M.

Dolson nervously pacing around feeling as though he had something he was being asked to do...with bottle of whisky in hand, he takes a swig, and suddenly is prompted from an abstract quell of energy to place the bottle on the table and put the cork back on. He resisted at first, then felt his blood pressure rise creating a profuse sweat to fall from his brow. 

        He comply's and looks up at the wooded ceiling

"What is it you want...come on, you ghost people...might as well not run, you guys are everywhere...how may I be of service?"

A hammer falls from a shelf in the utility room, along with some spent hardened nails.

Dolson goes to the utility room, seeing the hammer shaking back and forth, seemingly under it's own power, the nails were dancing around, Dolson is overwhelmed and passes out on the floor.

Two Hours Later

(Scene Switch)

Tomei has mounted Argus and rode over to the Sheriff's upstairs home.

Tying Argus off, she walks up the creaky wooded stairs and knocks on door.

Sheriff opens door with head full of shaving cream

Tomei jumps back, startled by his appearance

Sheriff

"Hey girl, morning...scare ya huh...never seen me with my white beard?

Tomei

"No, no...I'm okay, just didn't look like yourself, haven't been around a lot of menfolk in the morning..."

Sheriff laughing

"Oh come on Tomei, my Mystic honey...you been around all Miss Ellis's customers for years now, what are you saying?"

Tomei looking at ground

"I seen a lot of things about you men that I wasn't 'pose to see...it scares me how you poke out in places, but not much I can do about it...just the way God made you I guess?"

Sheriff

"Are you okay Tomei, cause I thought you knew all them things?"

Tomei

"Whatever, Daddy showed me his, but that's talk for another time, deal?"

Sheriff

"Deal, hurry up before my shave disappears, what can I help you with this morning?"

Tomei

"Mister Dolson got some work to do, I want to know where to find him...got all them houses all over the place, which one is he in right now?

Sheriff walking off back to his mirror, starts swiping his face with his shaving blade and wiping it off

"Well, can't be for sure...but I think it was the old Martin farm...nice house he built up there!"

Tomei

"And just what happened to Mister Martin?"

Sheriff

"Wife killed him supposedly, caught him with an Indian girl or something?"


Tomei looking concerned

"Well, what happened to Misses Martin?"


Sheriff

"Indians came by and scooped her up...found her body...well,what was left of it...impaled over by a fence pole...not something to think about okay?"


Tomei

"I'll try not to, so is that the house over by the river...by them hills over there (pointing to east)?"


Sheriff

"Tomei, I Love you like my own daughter...your not going over there prospecting, you hear me...with all that went own with Dolson...you stay away from him, you hear me?"


Tomei scoffing

"I have my own form of protection...more than any will have possession of at this point...I was simply asking if he might be over there...don't worry about me...I'll be fine!"


Sheriff shaking his head

"Do you mind if I at least escort you over there, give me a minute?"


Tomei

"I'll be downstairs waiting...hurry up...ain't got all day!"


Sheriff

"Yes Mam, but what's this all about anyway?"


Tomei laughing

"I was going to surprise you with a new court house...just for you...give Dolson some purpose...we gonna finally have a town hall...maybe a Mayor, too!"


Sheriff smiling

"You gonna convince Dolson to build us a court house town hall...just like that?"


Tomei

"I already told you...I have people upstairs who have made a request and I intend to see it happen, got a problem with that?"


Sheriff

"No Mam, young lady, that would really put us on the map if we had a real house of law, place to meet, I get it...but just what makes you think John, you know...Dolson would even get involved with something like that?"


Tomei

"If I'm correct, he's already been half scared out of his britches, he probably already knows what he has to do...just maybe!"


Sheriff

"Yea right, like trying to pull worms out of the ground...you gonna need a sharp shovel for that one..."


Tomei

"You don't have faith...you need to believe...why can't you accept their presence?"


Sheriff shaking head, wiping excess creme off his face

"It' not that, it's just that...oh my God...I get it now!"


Tomei

"Oh, so just like that...everything is different?"


Sheriff pointing behind her

"No girl, look what's behind you...what's coming up the path!"

Tomei turns head seeing Dolson coming up on wagon, her mouth drops open.

Argus had already untied himself and was leading Dolson's horses toward the Sheriff's office by their bridles. Tomei and the Sheriff could only stare in amazement as to what they were seeing.

Dolson yelling from a distance

"Hey Sheriff...spooky girl, we need to get some men folk...heck let's get the whole town involved!"

Closing in, Argus starts to pull hard, making Dolson's horses gallop a bit.
They finally pull in next to the Sheriff's Office.


Sheriff looking down from second floor

"What were you rambling about, what's with all them hammers and saws...what's up?"


Dolson

"Sheriff, I've learned my ways...perhaps...no thanks to this little girl...the spirits talked to me for the first time...I see the truth!"


Sheriff looking the disgusted

"For tarnation, what are you trying to say...you not answering my question?"


Dolson smiling

"Sheriff...I've been told to build you a court house and central hall...put us on the map!"


The Sheriff suddenly starts turning white, light headed, like he almost was going to pass out, holding himself against the door, looking at Tomei

"You knew these things, I need to learn to start paying attention when you say something!"


Tomei smiling

"That's okay Sheriff, my spirits are good people, but they get what they want eventually..."


Sheriff shaking

"Wonder what could be next?"


Tomei

"They want me to be the first mayor!"


Sheriff crashing to floor

"Somebody get me a drink!"
